Bookstore

The College Mail Room and the Bookstore are both located on the First Floor of the Student Center.

Hours of Operation

Monday and Tuesday - 8:30am - 7:00pm
Wednesday and Thursday - 8:30am - 5:00pm
Friday - 8:30am - 4:00pm

Special Hours

The Bookstore will be open three Saturdays a year at the start of the Fall, Spring and Summer I semesters.

Merchandise

The COM Bookstore carries new and used textbooks, school and office supplies, COM logo apparel, gift items, greeting cards, stamps, back packs and special course kits and supplies. Class rings can be ordered through the Bookstore.

Refund and Buy Back Policies

COM provides a bookstore in the Student Center to allow students to purchase books and materials as conveniently and economically as possible. The Bookstore maintains an inventory of textbooks requested by instructors for all courses offered. For assistance in obtaining appropriate materials, students need only to inform Bookstore personnel of the name and number of the course in which they are registered. Purchases can be made using Visa, Discover, MasterCard, checks, or cash.

One hundred percent of the customer's purchase price will be refunded if the book is new, unmarked, and is returned on or before the Census Date for classes. The sales receipt is required for a refund.

Fifty percent of the customer's purchase price will be refunded for books bought back by the Bookstore during the buy-back period if the book is in good condition and is scheduled for use the next semester. The buy-back period will be posted prior to the end of each semester.

Ordering Graduation Regalia

The Bookstore Secretary orders regalia in bulk. Student regalia is not ordered on an individual basis. Students will be fitted beginning one month prior to graduation. Phi Theta Kappa Students can purchase their stoles through the Bookstore, but all other Phi Theta Kappa items must be ordered through Leslie Richardson, PTK faculty advisor, at ext. 329.
